WTF ‘merica

I just read an article on the number of gun deaths in the United States which included the rankings by various geographic areas. Basically it was like all articles I’ve seen on the subject—“it makes no sense that a country l8e the United States would have so much gun violence”—I can almost hear the pearls being clutched.

Bottom line here the United States, with its 4.3 deaths per 100,000 due to gun violence, comes in at 28 highest in the world. What country is above us you might ask (I know I did)?

Iraq. Number 27 is Iraq at 5.3 deaths per 100,000.

Yes at roughly one more death a third world country which has essentially been at war since forever and is located in one of the most violent parts of the world.

Way to go America.
