I actually started writing (because yes starting new writing projects before finishing currently existing writing projects is how I roll) last week. It isn’t an autobiography per se but it is highly autobiographical in nature so I suppose that counts. In the spirit of the daily prompt I have written the opening sentence of the manuscript below and in the spirit of me I also continued writing the entire first paragraph. It doesn’t really add any context, because what fun would that be, I just really like this paragraph so I included it….

I was getting ready for work when it occurred to me. Maybe hit me would be a better way of putting it. That is how it felt anyway, like a truck had just crashed right into some deep part of me.
