To add to the weird week I have had on WordPress, recall my earlier post about a hack attempt, I have noticed that the vast majority of my email blog post alerts are coming from the same account. I am still receiving some emails from the usual cast of characters but it appears that one account is forwarding all my other alerts to me, which makes no sense as the blog posts do not appear to be forwarded or reposted.
Have any of you noticed anything unusual with your blog or WordPress itself?
Something is amiss with WordPress and I sincerely hope someone is working on it.

What’s an email blog post alert? Do you mean notifications for likes?
When someone I follow posts something to their blog, if notifications is turned on, an email will be sent stating so and so posted something new to their blog and include a couple of lines of whatever was posted. An email will also be sent out for new likes or, as in this case, comments.
I have, for the past week or so, been receiving multiple alert emails from a single blog which alert me to new posts and likes and comments from other blogs. The emails don’t appear to be forwarded information, they look like this one blog is now all these other blogs.
I’m probably not explaining this very well. Maybe I’ll include a screenshot in a new post.
