You might forget that every revolution throughout the documented history of humankind started when a downtrodden and hopeless segment of the population grew to such a size and such a level of frustration and rage that they rose up and killed the elites. The peasants rose up against the nobility. The poor rose up against the rich. The colonist rose up against the colonizers. The oppressed will always eventually rise up against the oppressors.
