A distant memory

Sitting in my office waiting for my next patient, with Beethoven playing in my headset, I recall a time when I was 16, an aunt asked me how I came to like classical music. I suppose it was a bit unheard of in her world at the time.

My response?

“Loony Toons.”

She said “oh like how funny it sounds?”

“No,” I replied, “like Bugs Bunny.”

He wanted to energize the world “at a bare minimum of fee.” Edison on the other hand would sue to protect his profit streams from “his” inventions. His is in quotes because many of Edison’s inventions actually came from the teams of scientists and engineers working for his company.
