A silent but constant thought

“All of these years of my service toward mankind has brought me nothing but assaults and humiliations.” Nikola Tesla

There is a video trend going around social media of women “discovering” the men in their lives spend a lot of time thinking about the fall of Rome or the Roman Empire. I can honestly say until one of those videos crossed my feed I never gave the fall of Rome much thought. I still don’t.

What I do think about not all the time but periodically are thoughts like this one.

Do you realize the only reason we (in the USA) are taught in school of the glory and genius of Thomas Edison and nothing about Nikola Tesla is because Edison was a profiteering capitalist, who only created to make himself and others money, and Tesla was a socialist who created to make the world a better place for all humankind.
