It has been a while since I had posted on my follower count and my appreciation for all of you agreeing to come with me on this journey, and I think it is beyond time for me to say a few words.

I started this version of my blog a little over a year ago. At the time I was about 2/3 the way through my books first draft and it occurred to me that finishing the manuscript would be pointless if no one actually wanted to read what I had to say. I started posting and you started it only liking and commenting but following as well.

There has been an evolutionary process to this little blog and it has taken on a life of its own. I have read and been inspired by all of you and in so many surprising ways. I really cannot thank you enough.

As I see my follower count rise, across multiple platforms I am truly humbled that almost 400 people would actually choose to have something I had written land in their inbox and on your own pages.

I continue to read and to be inspired by all of you and am truly amazed at the talent you all have across so many different mediums. From writing to painting to photography and digital art of all types. Your poems and stories and observations of our world amaze me every day and several of you have even added to my daily musical playlist.

And across soooo many parts of our big beautiful world, I continually am amazed by where some of you are living and writing and following me from. I don’t think I could have even imagined such a thing when I got started with this blog.

I truly cannot thank you enough.

As my book continues through the editing and I finalize a paper or two for journal submission I keep all of you in my mind and in my heart. Thank you again for accompanying me on this journey.
